How to spray paint a wicker basket
Wicker baskets add texture to your home and are great for storing logs, newspapers, magazines etc. A traditional wicker washing basket can be found in most households! Rust-Oleum spray paint is a great and inexpensive way to give a makeover to any household wicker objects. It took us just minutes to spray paint this basket giving it a fresh, new look.
Tools needed:
Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch
Rust-Oleum Surface Primer
Damp Cloth
Sandpaper
Newspaper/ dust-sheets

Remove any existing flaking paint and use a damp cloth to ensure the surface is clean and free from dust, residue etc. When dry, lightly sand the surface for better paint adhesion. |

Ensure the surrounding areas are ventilated and well covered to protect from spray mist. Give the basket two light coats with Rust-Oleum Surface Primer for best finish possible. |

When this is dry, apply two light, even coats of Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch in Heirloom White (Satin). Allow to dry completely for 24 hours.
Always follow the instructions on the back of the can. |
